Philippe Coutinho has bid Bayern Munich farewell after his journey in Germany ended.

The Barcelona player was loaned to the Bavarians last season following his dip in form at the Camp Nou.

The 29-year old Brazilian enjoyed the season with the Bundesliga team and trophies he dreamt of winning with Barcelona before his dream move from Liverpool.

The Brazilian Was part of the Triple 2020 squad that secured the German Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal, and his first Champions League trophy, Bayern’s 6, after missing out when Liverpool played in two finals and won the 2018/19 edition.

He scored two goals against his parent club during their 8-2 humiliation by Bayern.

"I would like to thank all the fans, the staff, and players for this season," Coutinho wrote on Instagram.

"It was truly an amazing year where I learnt so much and the final achievements with the treble [were] unforgettable."

Bayern already made their intentions known that they will not activate the player’s buy out clause when the season finishes.

Coutinho’s next destination will be decided by Barcelona, who are finding it tough to keep their talisman, Lionel Messi.

Ronald Koeman is yet to decide whether he would be loaned out or sold out at a cut-price.
