Court Remands Man, 28 For Killing His Girlfriend And Son Of the Lady 

The Police prosecutor D.Y Yeboah got information about this Murder and visited the house of the deceased and saw the bodies of both deceased in a supine position with knife cut on their throats and at the stage of decomposition.

Bekwai District Court has remanded a 28-year-old man, Isaac Kwadwo Boakye, for allegedly killing his girlfriend Agnes Duah and a son of 7 years Emmanuel Twumasi at Anwiankwanta-Poano in Bekwai Municipality in Ashanti Region.
The Police prosecutor D.Y Yeboah got information about this Murder and visited the house of the deceased and saw the bodies of both deceased in a supine position with knife cut on their throats and at the stage of decomposition.
In the interrogation, there have been series of misunderstanding between them in several occasions, further intelligence gathered indicates that , on the 3rd day of February, 2023 midnight prior to this incident, the suspect was seen in the vicinity of the deceased, he said .
Postmortem was examined on the bodies of Agnes Duah and Emmanuel Twumasi .
On 27th May , 2023 , per intelligence gathered by police,  arrested the suspect of his hideout at Kwamankese near Mankessim in the Central Region.
During interrogation, the suspect admitted the offenses that he killed the two of the deceased and the cause was that , he had a misunderstanding with her and planned of killing her . 
In an interview with Soireenews.com,the suspect said that , he molded a sickle-like knife and sharpened same to kill her
He further added that he engaged her in a quarrel and in a process , he slashed the throat of the deceased with the already sharpened knife . 
He continue added that , he killed the 7 years old Emmanuel Twumasi because he saw him killing her mother
The prosecutor told the court to seek the help of Attorney General on this case , therefore he asked court to remand the accused person into prison custody to have ample time to complete the investigation and a response from Attorney General, which was granted and he is to appear in court on 15th June , 2023
