Central Region: Omanhene calls on government to support Gomoa Okyereko, Adawukwa, and Gomoa Mampong disaster victims

Moreover, the member of parliament for Gomoa East Honorable Desmond Paitoo with Gomoa east NADMO director Robert Hackman visited the disaster scenes to access the situation and the level of damage.

Over 50 houses, church buildings, and school buildings have been ripped off at Gomoa Okyereko in the Gomoa East District of the central region after a heavy downpour.

With regards to this, the Omanhene of Gomoa Akyampim traditional council Nana Obirifo Ahunako Ankobea ii has visited the disaster communities namely Gomoa Okyereko, Adawukwa, and Gomoa Mampong to Know the level of disaster caused by the downpour.

Nana Obirifo Ahunako Ankobea ii has used the opportunity to appeal to the government to intervene and support the over 50 victims who were rendered homeless.

Moreover, the member of parliament for Gomoa East Hounrable Desmond Paitoo with Gomoa east NADMO director Robert Hackman visited the disaster scenes to access the situation and the level of damage.

The legislator has pledged to support the victims with 20 packet sets of roofing sheets and an amount of 6,000 Ghana cedis.
