Central Region:No Unpleasant Behavior Will be Accepted at the Festival Ground.
There will be an opening ceremony of the 2022 edition of the Awutu Awubia festival today at Awutu Breku.

The Nifahene of Awutu Traditional council in the central region Nai Pobie Abun-dam has announced that troublemakers, as well as Indian hemp smokers, will be severely punished and cause their arrest if somebody is spotted in the act.
According to the Nifahene, there will be a heavy security presence throughout the celebration of the Awutu Awubia festival to protect lives and properties hence the call.
Nai Pobie Abun-dam has called for peace and unity amongst
the people of Awutu whiles he advised the youth to be law-abiding citizens during and after the Awutu Awubia festival.
He made this pronouncement to Soireenews during the opening ceremony of the 2022 edition of the Awutu Awubia festival today at Awutu Breku.
Meanwhile, the Kyidomhene for Awutu Traditional Council who doubles as Divisional Chief of Awutu Okwabena Nai Ampem Darko has bemoaned the high rate of unemployment rate amongst Awutu youths a situation he described as worrying and pathetic.
The Traditional Ruler however called on the government led by His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo to remember Awutu and create jobs to enable the jobless youths to become financially stable.
