As part of process to elect polling station executives in the ruling New Patriotic party, vetting has begun at the Sunyani East constituency.


Secretary of the committee, Christian Gyabaa Yeboah speaking on Ark in the morning show monitored by Soiree News  noted that, the vetting begun yesterday and it's expected to continue today. 
He pointed out that, the forms that are not original but photocopied have been rejected. 
"Forms that were picked from the other regions are also rejected", he said. 
He added that, although the nomination forms of the applicant has been rejected, the individual would be given a fair hearing by allowing them to appear before the vetting committee to state their reasons.
He told the host of the show that, 3000 forms were sold out. 
“Over 400 forms believed to have been picked outside the constituency have been set aside after receiving them”, Mr. Yeboah emphasized
 “The Sunyani East forms had some security features that distinguishes it from the others, hence our ability to noticed those that were purchased outside the constituency, he stated.
