Berekum East Municipal Assembly Adjudged the Best Assembly in Presentation of the 2023 Composit Budget-Deputy Local Government Minister.
According to him, the Assembly presentation of their 2023 composit budget took into consideration three thematic areas of agriculture, health and education which to him is in the right direction for the progress of the Assembly.

The Deputy Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Honourable Collins Ntim has applauded the Berekum East Municipal Assembly in the Bono Region as the best Assembly in the Bono Region for their 2023 composit budget presentation.
According to him, the Assembly's presentation of the 2023 budget took into consideration three thematic areas of agriculture, health and education which to him is in the right direction for the progress of the Assembly.
He said, he has travelled across the length and breath of the country but looking at the Assembly's budget presentation makes them ahead of the rest of some other Assembly especially in the Bono Region making them the best Assembly compared to other Assembly.
He therefore urged the Assembly to keep to the budget to work towards achieving it systematically especially on the part of the Assembly workers and staff.
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Berekum East Municipal Assembly, Honourable Kofi Adjei also thanked the Deputy Minister for paying them visit and has encouraged them of the good work done.
He promised to ensure that, the Assembly will work together to promote the sustainable development in the Berekum East Municipality.
