The Government spokesperson on infrastructure, Kojo Frimpong has donated 2,130 mathematical sets to Wenchi Municipal Directorate of the Ghana Education Service in the Bono Region to be distributed to BECE Candidates in the area who are preparing to write their final exams on November 15, 2021.

Mr Frimpong through his special aid, Alhaji Mahama Idddrisu donated the math sets at a cost of Ghc14,910.

Briefing the media during the presentation, Alhaji Iddrisu explained that the motive was to improve education in Wenchi Municipality.

The items according to Alhaji Iddrisu will help the pupils in their exams and also reduce the burden on some parents. He also called on other benevolent Ghanaians to emulate the gesture to help develop the country.

He advised all BECE Candidates to stay away from all forms of malpractices since it is punishable by law. He also implored them to study hard to enable them to come out with flying colours in their exams.

The Wenchi Municipal Education Director, Mrs Mary Nyarko Adutwum receiving the items with joy on behalf of the school, pupils and parents expressed gratitude to Mr Kojo Frimpong.

She disclosed that the gesture will go a long way to encourage the pupils and boost their confidence as they prepare for the final exam.
