Beefing Stonebwoy Boosted My Career - Kelvyn Boy

Kelvyn Boy has rubbished the rumours that his career deteriorated after his beef with Stonebwoy.

The artiste noted that his beef with his former boss, Stonebwoy, boosted his career to unprecedented levels.

He noted that his popularity and income increased after he left the Burniton Music label in 2019; leaving behind Blakk Cedi, and his two signees Kelvyn Boy and OV.

“When that thing happened, it was what blew me up, that's when I got money, that's when I saw money, that's when people wanted to see me... that’s what made me Kelvynboy, haven’t you realized?”

He said this in an exclusive interview with Doreen Avio.

“It affected me positively but maybe in their minds because people will always get the wrong perception of people, keep that perception, I’m cool”,

This comes after there were speculations that his album failed to gain maximum attention due to his issues with his former boss.

“If I love Stonebwoy, it should still be in my heart; if he loves me, it should still be in my heart. I would rather it stays in my heart that’s why I cleaned the tattoo,."

"I don’t talk about it but it’s because you asked. These days, I’m very honest and real, that’s why I cleared it, I would prefer it’s in my heart because it doesn’t really matter now’’, He stated.

Kelvyn Boy recently disclosed that he has wiped the BHIM Nation tattoo on his right arm.

The former BHIM Nation protege said he does not have the tattoo anymore because he is no longer under any obligation to please his former boss, Stonebwoy since he never appreciated him in the first place.

Kelvyn Boy had gotten the tattoo during his BHIM Nation days while working under Stonebwoy.

Their separation started in 2019 when Stonebwoy started to drop cryptic messages on social media about how ungrateful Kelvyn Boy.

Shortly after, Stonebwoy then axed Kelvyn Boy from Burniton Music Group.
