The Bechem Water Board has cut-sod for the construction of 22 seaters modern Water Closet toilet facility for the residents in the Atekyem electoral area to replace the deplorable one.
According to the Board, the move was a part of measures to ensure proper sanitation in the area.
The Assemblyman for. Bechem-Atekyeam Electroal area in the Tano South Municipality of Ahafo region, Honorable. Joseph Appiah expressed his gratitude to Bechem Water Board for coming to their aid to build a modern water closet toilet facility for the people.
The Assembly Member added that his electoral area is gradually receiving support for developmental purposes in the area of sanitation, education, and health.
He, therefore, appealed to the Water Board to complete the project on time for the benefit of the residents since the old is very deplorable for use.
