'Bawumia is a threat to NDC and this is why' - ABS fumes

Communications officer for the Bono Regional New Patriotic Party, Asare Bediako Seth has said, the Vice President Dr Alhaji Mahamud Bawumia is a threat to the National Democratic Congress.

According to him, the NDC may celebrate it in a grand style should they wake up one morning to hear that the Veep has quit politics.

“The NDC has always been wanting to hear that Dr Alhaji Bawumia has quit politics as he poses threat to the NDC as far as politics is concerned,” he said.

He revealed that the only vice president that has utilized his office well is Dr Alhaji Bawumia as he has been able to manage the economy well even in the midst of COVID-19.

“As head of the country’s Economic Management Team, Dr Alhaji Mahamud Bawumia has been able to ensure digitisation of major sectors of the economy and that is a plus for him”, he stressed.

Mr Asare Bediako was optimistic that digitisation of all sectors of the economy is a key factor in developing the country as it ensures proper management of the economy.

Contributing to a radio program at a Sunyani based Nimde3 FM monitored by Soiree News Nana Ama Asiedu, Mr Asare Bediako reiterated that, the NDC lacks competent candidates as they may bring back Mahama in 2024. He expressed that Mahama is the only hope for the NDC as there is no candidate to compete the competence of Dr Alhaji Bawumia.

“Mahama is their only hope and if he decides to back off, the NDC may be in doom”, the NPP communicator stressed.
