The Government of Ghana in collaboration with the World Bank is set to construct over 200 Kilometers of feeder roads in the Atebubu/Amantin Municipality of the Bono East region.

The project is financed by the world bank dubbed, "The Transport Sector Improvement Project (TSIP) aims at improving the nature of the feeder roads in the municipality and also help farmers to have access to a good road network in transporting their farm produce.

Ahead of this project, two committees have been formed, the Grievances Redressed Committee and Community Monitoring Committee by the world bank and Ghana government to solve any misunderstanding that may occur between the residents and the contractor.

Speaking to the media during the inauguration of the Committees Mrs Effuah Akwatia Mensah, a representative of the Department of Feeder Roads, Accra Head office explained the purpose of forming the two committees.

Mrs Ethel Emefah Erah who is the Gender-based violence expert and also works with Savanna Signature appealed to all the residents to put politics aside and support the project.
