Speaking at a Durber of chief and people of Assin Asempanaye, Mr Fordjour said a country where LGBTQI+ is practiced is where Mr. Quayson was raised Canada.

The Deputy Education Minister and the Member of Parliament for Assin South Constituency in the Central Region Honourable Rev. John Ntim Fordjour has debunked the National Democratic Congress (NDC) lies and deceit regarding the Supreme Court ruling on Mr. James Gyakye Quayson's case.
"The NDC spreading falsehood that Mr Gyakye Quayson was removed from Parliament by the NPP government to enable them to advocate for LGBTQI+, which is false," he noted.
Speaking at a Durber of chief and people of Assin Asempanaye, Mr Fordjour said a country where LGBTQI+ is practiced is where Mr. Quayson was raised Canada.  
According to him, Mr Quayson was not the among the parliamentarians who are fighting for the anti-LGBT bill to be passed to protect the culture of the country.
He stressed that the ruling NPP is ready to protect the culture and traditions of the country, so the Propaganda of the NDC led by former President John Dramani Mahama and Mr Sammy Gyamfi should be disregard by the Ghanaian public.
Mr. Fordjour stated that the good work the NPP government has done for the people of Assin North in the education sector
