Asake was unable to pay N5m for a video — TG Omori
ThankGod Omori Jesam, often known as TG Omori, is a prominent music video director from Nigeria.He recently stated that YBNL signee Asake was unable to pay N5 million (72,905 cedis) for a video shoot that took place three years ago.

Boy Director, as he is affectionately known, has directed music videos for Asake, including "Sungba," "Organise," and "Joha."
TG Omori claimed during his appearance on the most recent episode of the Zero Conditions podcast that he knew Asake before he had a chance at popularity.
"I first met him (Asake) at Intercontinental," remarked Omori. After hearing one of his songs, I requested that he pull up. He was someone I used to follow on Instagram before Olamide signed him.
We communicate haphazardly on Instagram, and I nudge him to do a music video when the moment is appropriate.
"Soon after, I instructed him to pull up. He arrived at Intercontinental, and we simply relaxed and had a good time.
"I then instructed him to seek for some money, similar to the N5 million he was looking for three years earlier, and if he did, we would collaborate. He promised to seek for the money and never showed up as promised.
Omori remembered, "It was afterwards that he told him he didn't have the money.
