It has been reported that former National Vice Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), H.E Alhaji Said Sinare, will be joining the Save Ghana Now demonstration.

The demonstration, which is set to take place in Accra on October 3rd, 2023, is aimed at drawing attention to the current state of the country and demanding accountability from the ruling New Patriotic Party government.

The protest also aims to demand the resignation of the Bank of Ghana Governor, Dr. Ernest Addison, and his deputies due to a GH¢60.8 billion loss incurred by the bank.

H.E Alhaji Said Sinare, the founder of Zongos for the NDC, an astute politician and a respected figure in Ghanaian politics, has also called on all citizens of Ghana to participate fully in the protest, which seeks to demand accountability, transparency, and good governance from the government.

Alhaji Sinare's decision to join the demonstration is not surprising given his track record of advocating for the betterment of Ghana. His participation in the demonstration will undoubtedly add more weight to the growing chorus of voices calling for change in the country.

In a statement released today, Alhaji Sinare stated that "It is time for Ghanaians to rise up and demand the change we want to see. Our voices must be heard, and our concerns must be addressed. The Save Ghana Now demonstration is not just a protest but a call for action for a better Ghana."

The Save Ghana Now demonstration, which is organized by the Minority caucus in Parliament, is expected to bring together thousands of Ghanaians from all walks of life to demand good governance, job creation, affordable healthcare, quality education, and a corruption-free society.

Alhaji Sinare urged all Ghanaians to join the demonstration in a peaceful and orderly manner and to uphold the values of democracy and rule of law.
