AHAFO REGIONAL MINISTER CUT SOD FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF 15 KM ALHAJI NKWANTA-MIM ROAD.

The Ahafo Regional Minister, Honorable. George Boakye a.k.a Sompahene together with Asunafo South District Chief Executive, Honorable. Abuse Poku Frank has cut sod for the construction of a 15km road from Alhaji-Nkwanta through Sakyikrom to Weijakrom-Mim.

The people of Anwiaso-Sakyikrom-Weijakrom Electoral Area in the Asunafo South District after the sod cutting expressed their appreciation to the government for the attempt to construct their deplorable road for a very long time. 

Speaking to Josshob Constructions Ltd after he was introduced to the people, the road will be asphalted and is expected to be completed within 8 months.

Nana Adu Peinor, the chief of Anwiaso on behalf of the other chiefs thanked the Ahafo Regional Minister and the DCE for the move to construct an asphaltic road for the people in the area and also urged the contractor to complete the road on time since they have struggled on the stretch of road for a long time.
