Ahafo Region: All MMDCE's Nominees Confirmed
The Ahafo Regional Minister, Honourable George Boakye told that the immediate confirmation will accelerate the development of the districts and the region as a whole.

All the six Nominees of President Akuffo Addo Metropolitan Municipal District Chief Executives have been Confirmed by Assembly members in the Ahafo Region.
The confirmation started on Tuesday, September, 28 and ended Thursday 30, September 2021.
The process began at Tano South and North Municipalities and ended Asunafo North and South.
All the 36 Assembly Members in Tano North Municipal voted YES for Hon Ernest Kwarteng as MCE for the area.
In Tano South District out of 57 Assembly Members, 53 voted YES while 4 Assembly Members disapproved representing 93%.
The process went on smoothly at Asutifi North and South on Wednesday all the 36 assembly members voted yes for Hon Anthony Mensah as DCE for Asutifi North.
30 out of 33 Assembly members in Asutifi South District voted yes 2 voted no 1 rejected numbering 33, Hon Mensah Dwomoh Robert has also been confirmed as DCE for Asutifi South.
42 Assembly Members in Asunafo North Municipal voted YES for Hon Osei Yaw Boahen as MCE for the area.
Asunafo South was not different from the 5 District of the Region all the 35 Assembly members voted yes for the Nominee Frank Adusei Poku as DCE for Asunafo South.
After the confirmation, the Ahafo Regional Minister Hon George Boakye told Soireenews Sulley Dramani that immediate confirmation will accelerate the development of the district and the region
He, therefore, expressed his gratitude to the Assembly Members, Chief's and the people's of the region for their massive support.
