President Akufo-Addo will on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 cut sod for work to begin on the government’s promised “Agenda 111” initiative.

President Nana Akufo-Addo announced this at Kenyasi No. 1 in the Asutifi North District of Ahafo Region as part of his two days tour of Ahafo following the reminder of the Paramount Chief of Kenyasi No. 1, Nana Osei Kofi Abiri of his promised to people of Kenyasi of District Hospital.

The project: "Agenda 111, which will see to the construction of 100-bed District Hospitals in one hundred and one (101) Districts with no hospitals, seven (7) Regional Hospitals for the new Regions, including one for the Western Region, the construction of two (2) new psychiatric hospitals for the Middle Belt and Northern Belt, respectively, Construction of some of these hospitals have commenced and will continue without interruption."

For his part, The Paramount Chief of Kenyasi No.1, Nana Osei Kofi Abiri in his welcome address plead with President Akufo-Addo to ensure Kofi Job Construction Limited a contractor working on Kenyasi to Hwidiem road who return to the site just recently to complete the work as scheduled since the drivers and passengers ply the road, especially the youth, are furious.

Nana Odeneho Dadiako Kwabena Nsiah Ababio II, who spoke through his Akwamuhene, Nana Boadu Ayeboafo thank President Akufo-Addo for the return of Kofi Job Construction Limited to Kenyasi to Hwidiem road but appeals to him to ensure the contractor complete the work before leaving the site.
