Agenda 111: Obuasi East District hands over project site to Contractor
The project under the Agenda 111 initiative is expected to complete in 18 months.

The District Chief Executive for Obuasi East, Honourable Faustina Amissah has handed over the proposed site for the construction of the District Hospital to the contractor to commence work at Kwabenakwa.
The project forms part of the Agenda 111 initiative of the President, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Nana Addo Dankwa has earlier touted that the Agenda 111 project is his biggest ever investment in the nation's health care since he assumed power and the exposure of Ghana’s health system due to the coronavirus outbreak compelled him to embark on such a project to refurbish the health system.
As contained in the 8th Covid-19 address on April 26, 2020, 88 hospitals are under construction.
Express Properties is the lead contractor of the project and is expected to be completed in 18 months.
