Ghanaian media personality and comedienne, Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, well known as Afia Schwarzenegger, has revealed that she wants the position as Member of Parliament for Fomena Constituency.

Afia Schwar was recently captured in the Fomena Constituency specifically Fomena Adansi. It seems she was in the Fomena Constituency to make arrangements for her father’s final funeral rite.

Afia Schwar on her official Instagram page revealed that she will contest the Fomena seat in 2024.

She wrote, "With the help of God and my angel (dad) I'm coming back to contest the Fomena seat in 2024...My people deserve better.

Please, this is how you exit your constituency...No slacking.. #independentcandidate #queenofcomedy #onyamehighlyinvolved #onyamekala Adansi Fomena here we come!!!!".

According to Afia Schwarzenegger, she would be contesting for the Fomena Constituency seat as an Independent candidate. As many Ghanaians can remember, Hon Andrew Asiamah Amoako neglected the advice of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and stood as an Independent Candidate and won the seat. Probably, Afia Schwarzenegger will also get lucky and take the seat of Hon Andrew Asiamah Amoako.

However, the support given to her by the youths when she was leaving the Fomena constituency made her believe that she can stand for the position as Member of Parliament for the constituency and win. Some of the youths in the community surrounded her car and started hailing her name as if she is their Member of Parliament.

This caused Afia Schwarzenegger to become convinced that if she stands for the seat in the 2024 Parliamentary elections, she could win it. If Afia Schwarzenegger is serious about what she says, she will run against Hon Andrew Asiamah Amoako, the incumbent Member of Parliament for Fomena Constituency who also serves as Parliament's Second Deputy Speaker.
