Ace Liam made history by becoming the youngest male artist to hold the Guinness World Record. Ace-Liam completed the astounding achievement at the age of one year and 152 days.

Ace Liam's trip to the record books began with an ambitious attempt held in Accra from January 18 to January 20, 2024, and he surpasses former title holder Dante Lamb, who reached the milestone at the age of three in 2003.

The mother of the Ghanaian toddler who has been officially certified as the world's youngest male painter told the BBC that she is proud of her son's creative skills and thinks he will take the art world by storm.

"He already knows what colours complement each other," said his mother, Chantelle Kuukua Eghan, who has been an artist for eight years.

Ms Eghan claimed she discovered his gift when he was only six months old. To qualify for the record, GWR stated that Ace-Liam had to participate in a professional exhibition accessible to the public and sell his work.

It further stated that the work required to be completed to a professional standard, with evidence demonstrating that it was done on his own.

Ace-Liam's art was on display at the Museum of Science and Technology in Accra from December until early January.

He sold nine out of the ten items on display and was even commissioned by the First Lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo, who attended the exhibition.

The prodigy, who turns two in July, has sold 15 paintings in his career and plans to conduct an auction shortly.
