Abesim murder: Residents live in fear after series of murder cases
The Region has recently witnessed series of man-slaughter cases and residents see it as abnormal in their Abesim suburb.

Some residents of Abesim and environs in Sunyani Municipality have are living in fear following the spate of murder cases in the area within the past few months.
Soireenews in random interviews spoke to the residents who claimed the situation “is becoming alarming, especially for those who are not natives of the town but work there”.
The apprehensions come after the arrest of a murder suspect, 28-year-old Richard Appiah Kubi, an architect by the Police.
It is alleged he murdered 12-year-old Louis Agyemang Junior, his stepbrother, 15-year-old Stephen, as well as unidentified human parts stored in a fridge.
Earlier before this incident, a murder case of a seamstress who murdered her baby’s father and a young tailor who attempted to use his nephew for money rituals were also recorded in the area.
