A well-known actor appeals for assistance in locating his abducted father.

Uche Odoputa, a veteran Nollywood actor, has appealed for aid after his father was kidnapped.

Kenneth Odoputa, Uche's father, was kidnapped in his house three weeks ago with a friend.

Since his kidnapping, neither his father nor the kidnappers have contacted him, according to the seasoned actor.

Uche is concerned about the rise in incidences of kidnapping and ritual homicide in Nigeria.

As a result, he is begging his supporters to remember him in their prayers and to disclose any information that could lead to his father's release to the authorities.
