Nigerian actress Nse Ikpe-Etim has opened up about her life, making friends in the industry and why she revealed to the world that she underwent a hysterectomy after she was told she could not have kids.

Award-winning actress, Nse Ikpe-Etim has disclosed that she blocked her husband on Instagram once.

During an interview with Rubbing minds, the actress explained that she blocked her husband on Instagram after he created one to get her attention.

The actress added that her husband tried to reach out to her after she shared an article on her Instagram page. She noted that he had seen it on LinkedIn.

Ikpe-Etim explained that her husband, who is not on social media had to create an Instagram account to talk to her because he could not reach her and she blocked him.

Nse Ikpe-Etim also talked about why she revealed to the world that she removed her womb.

In an interview last year, the talented woman said she was diagnosed with a condition known as Adenomyosis. This condition meant she could not have kids.

She explained that she decided to have a hysterectomy to remove her womb.

She revealed that she made the decision to make herself feel alive again and stop going through what she was going through. She also wants people to know that it does not matter if you cannot bear children.

However, the actress stated that her husband was supportive after the news became public. She said he was happy that she was healing from the pain.

The actress also addressed how she felt when trolls came after her for revealing that she removed her womb. She said she was happy that she took control of her life because she was not constantly drained by emotion.

However, it was learnt that a Nigerian man identified as Mason Kelly said that the actress should not celebrate her last birthday when she clocked 45. Kelly said she has nothing to celebrate if she is not married..

The Nigerian man also stated that if the actress is married and does not have kids for her husband or if she does not stay with her husband she has nothing to celebrate.
