Eric Garcia wants to quit Manchester City.

The Spain U-21 player has rejected a contract extension to commit his future to the club on a long term basis.

Garcia has 12 months left on his current deal and has featured for Guardiola’s side eight times since the restart. The 19-year-old who moved from FC Barcelona at the age of 17 has been strongly linked back to the Blaugrana.

Pep during his Champions League press conference revealed that the young defender does not want to keep playing at the Etihad when his contract expires.
