Jean-Clair Todibo has been confirmed as the Barca player who tested positive for COVID-19.

Out of the nine players who were tested for the novel virus on Tuesday, the French professional footballer was the only player to have contracted the virus, making known on his social media platform.

Hi everyone, I can inform you that I have tested positive for COVID-19," he wrote.

"I'm asymptomatic and I feel fine.

"I am at home, following the appropriate health protocol.

"I'm really keen to return to training, but for now I must stay at home until the virus passes.

"Thanks for all the support and I send strength to all those who are also experiencing this close up."

The player according to reports did not have contact with any of the first team players who will be competing in Lisbon in the Champions League competition.

MARCA reveals that he was part of nine players who are preparing for next season in Catalonia after either returning from loans - as is the case with Todibo - or after arriving as a new signing.
