Your MP Always Pressure Me Over Nayillifong Roads -Bawumia

The Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has revealed that the Member of Parliament for Yendi, Alhaji Farouk Aliu Mahama, has been in his best advocacy element in lobbying for the fixing of Yendi roads especially the Nayillifong roads, one of the strongholds of the ruling party in the constituency. 

He disclosed this when he paid a courtesy call on His Royal  Majesty N'dan Ya-Naa Abukari Mahama II to appreciate the latter's participation during the funeral rites of his mother. 

Speaking at a short durbar held to welcome him to the Gbewaa Palace the Vice President said " your MP, Umar Farouk Aliu Mahama, has consistently been breathing on my neck and on government's in his bid to see to the tarring of the Nayillifong roads and by the grace of God, this government will fix it".  He also apprised the people on the Yendi Water Project and assured that the Project would commenced and be realised under the President Akufo Addo led government.

It can however be recalled that some major inner city roads in Yendi has in the past few months been asphalted.
