You Are Thieves Nzema East MCE PA Insults Technocrats In Assembly
This development followed when Mr. Angate who doubles as the polling station organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Community Centre Underground Hill Electoral Area of the Evalue Ajomoro Gwira Constituency rained an insult on the scores of the technocrats including the Coordinator Director who are working with the Nzema East Municipal Assembly, amidst tension and confusion in the area.
Freeman Koryekpor Awlesu Greater Mr. Aaron Angate, the Personal Assistant (PA) to the Nzema East Municipal Assembly in the Evalue Ajomoro Gwira Constituency of the Western Region, Madam Elizabeth Dorcas Amoah, has hit below the belt.
This development followed when Mr. Angate who doubles as the polling station organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Community Centre Underground Hill Electoral Area of the Evalue Ajomoro Gwira Constituency rained an insult on the scores of the technocrats including the Coordinator Director who are working with the Nzema East Municipal Assembly, amidst tension and confusion in the area.
According to many concerned citizens of the Nzema East Municipality, they were angered at Mr. Angate's behavior because looking at his age and his standard as compared to the various technocrats of the Assembly, he should be the last person to insult the technocrats.
They stated that the misconduct of Mr. Angate showed clearly that he was not cultured, nurtured, and groomed well.
Mr. Angate was reported to have been heard in a video saying that "all the technocrats in the Nzema East Municipal Assembly are thieves and had it not being the intervention of Madam Elizabeth Dorcas Amoah, the workers of the Assembly would have stolen an amount of GH¢ 6000."
He went on to state categorically quote "the workers of the Nzema East Municipal Assembly who are allegedly unhappy were stealing under the supervision of the former Nzema East Municipal Chief Executive, Mr. Frank Okpenyen."
Mr. Angate's anger at the technocrats of the Assembly stemmed from the recent publication made by the various technocrats of the Assembly who had demanded their immediate transfer from the Assembly.
In that report, the technocrats, including the Nzema East Municipal Coordinating Director are asking for their transfer because they couldn't withstand the severe maltreatment meted to them by the current Municipal Chief Executive of the Assembly.
According to them, for the past three months the current MCE assumed office, Madam Amoah who was described as the 'woman tiger woman has been verbally abusing the technocrats.
"All the technocrats of the Nzema East Municipal Assembly are demanding for the transfer because the current MCE is not in a good working relationship with them.
The MCE has verbally abused the technocrats of the Assembly. She was reported to have meted out gross disrespect to technocrats in the Assembly. She has not been taken any advice from the technocrats. She is running a one-woman show of the assembly which outcomes were adversely affecting the development and growth of the Assembly," the sources told Soireenews.com.
However, Mr. Angate thought otherwise that the publication made by the technocrats was an attack on the current MCE as he jumped into the defense of the MCE which has made him rain an insult on the technocrats to the highest level.
But some well-meaning NPP supporters and citizens in Nzema East Municipality have launched a verbal attack on Mr. Angate and condemned his misconduct to describe the technocrats of the Assembly as thieves.
"Today, Aaron Agate is describing workers of the assembly who have allegedly expressed their displeasure in the way they are being treated by the MCE as thieves. Wherefrom this arrogance and gross disrespect on the part of the followers of the MCE?
"So today, Agate can sit in assembly meetings? And what was his role in the meeting he claimed he attended? If Angie's claim that the workers of the assembly who are allegedly unhappy were stealing under the supervision of the former MCE, why can't the current MCE prosecute these thieves? Is the current MCE condoning stealing at the assembly? the citizens queried.
"And According to Agate, had it not been the intervention of the MCE, the workers of the Assembly would have stolen an amount of GH¢ 6000. Why should the internal happenings of a serious institution like the Nzema East Municipal Assembly be leaked by an alien-like Agate, assuming without admitting that what he is saying is true.?
"How do you expect the Technocrats of the Assembly to work peacefully under the current leadership when they are being verbally brutalized. When they are being described as thieves by people who have no knowledge of the process and procedures of the Assembly?" they further questioned.
They dared the current MCE to, as a Matter of urgency sanction an investigation into this allegation from Agate, adding that "She should also dissociate herself from the audio by Aaron Agate."
The citizens stressed that the failure by the MCE to do these will mean she is aiding and abetting a crime.
"It will also mean that the MCE accepts the description of the staff at the Municipal Assembly by Agate as broad day thieves who cannot help in the development of Nzema East municipality.
"If the investigation reveals that staff of the Nzema East Municipal Assembly are thieves, then we would humbly suggest it should be dealt with according to the law. And to the NPP, the earlier you accept the reality and act, the better," they noted.
According to them, an impression has been created that those who speak against what is happening today in Nzema East Municipal Assembly are either being sent by Mrs. Catherine Afeku or the former Nzema East Municipal Chief Executive, Mr. Frank Okpenyen, which is an insult to the intelligence of the grassroots.
They argued that it is as if the people have no minds on their own to listen and analyze issues bordering the NPP.
"Any well-meaning NPP in Nzema East should look at the issues with open-mindedness and be bold enough to speak and admit that the arrogance and gross disrespect by the followers of the MCE will send us into a ditch.
"May we not end up in police custody for speaking our minds under a democratic leadership," they concluded.
