The Yilo Krobo Municipal Assembly in the Eastern Region on Thursday, November 18, 2021, held its second ordinary meeting of the second session of the Eighth Assembly at the Municipal Assembly hall in Somanya.

Addressing the members, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE)  Eric Tetteh highlighted that his major priorities for the area are infrastructure, reducing unemployment, sanitation, and instilling discipline.

He, therefore, noted that, with the support from the August house, his priorities will be fulfilled to make it a benchmark for his leadership.

He further assured the people of Yilo krobo that, the Somanya District Hospital will soon be operationalized.

Mr Tetteh further urged all and sundry to put away political differences and rally behind him as one family to make the municipality a developed one.

 On his part, the presiding member of the assembly, Mr Robbert Kwesi Agede called on the local Government Ministry to as a matter of urgency fulfil their promised Motorcycle to members to enhance their work effectively and efficiently at their various electoral areas.

He, therefore, used the opportunity and pleaded unto the Municipal Chief Executive, Eric Tetteh to use his influence for authorities to pay all their outstanding ex-gratias for the 19 government appointees for which he the MCE is a beneficiary.
