 He was speaking on Ark in the morning monitored by Soiree News whiles expressing his worry on how governments fail to apply the toll necessitated for the creation of wealth among the local people. 
He said, “government should be supporting the local entrepreneurs by creating the enabling environment for businesses to grow”.
The NPP turned NDC CEO is optimistic entrepreneurship is the only remedy to eliminate youth unemployment and economic hardship, hence his concern. 
He wants Ghanaian youths especially unemployed Graduates to adopt a common-sense strategy in creating wealth for themselves by venturing into entrepreneurship   
In another development, concerning the defamation of character suit he filed against some two members of the New Patriotic Party which are still pending in court, he said: “the court has ruled for the parties to settle the issue out of court as the accused have retracted their statement of allegation against him adding that his lawyers are dealing with it”.
Bernard Oduro Tekyi is the former Presiding Member for the Sunyani West District Assembly now a Municipal.  Prior to the 2020 general elections, he was defeated by the incumbent Member of Parliament for the area,. Ignatius Baffuor Awuah doubles as the Employment and Labour Relations Minister at the  NPP parliamentary primaries.
Out of What he describes as a cheat on him by party leadership, he quit NPP to join NDC.
