Ann-Marie Badu, the stunning wife of UK-based gospel artiste, Sonnie Badu, has shed her "baby maker" title and has decided to make a comeback to the music scene.

The musician revealed that she has teamed up with her husband for a virtual concert dubbed ‘The Energizer’ which will stream live on Youtube and Facebook on Friday, July 17, at 2 pm. She returns after a 5-year break from the industry.

According to her, she cannot wait to grab the microphones and sing to glorify God once again. She made known that entertaining gospel music lovers is just a secondary goal. The last time she delivered a major performance was back in 2014.

Ann-Marie explained that her long break was unavoidable because she had to shift her priorities to her children as regards to their well being and development.

“For the past five years I’ve just been having children, I’ve had nothing to do but kinda sit that time out and do the children thing,” she said

Ann-Marie and Sonnie Badu got married on August 23, 2014, in London. They have four children together.
