When you have money, it's difficult to know who your true friends are — Kofi Amoabeng

In an interview with Bola Ray, the head of EIB Network, on Starr Chat, Kofi Amoabeng disclosed his current level of wealth.

He claims that he did not simply appear on a silver platter as the Kofi Amoabeng that people know today.

The startling thing he disclosed was that he was forced to wear a watch and shoes for over 20 years at one point.

He says that after taking on the role of brand ambassador for Caveman, a watch maker, he has altered the watch.

He declared, "I have been wearing the same watch and shoe for 20 years, but I changed it because I am now the Caveman brand ambassador."

He continued by saying that having money makes it incredibly tough and complicated to recognize one's true friends.

"Many people are drawn to you if you are wealthy. It's confusing when you can't always identify who your true pals are," he continued.
