Western Region;Take information communication and technology serious...Axim Municipal chief Executive urged

 The Municipal Chief Executive officer for Axim municipality of the Western Region Hounrable. Dorcas Asamoah has advised girls students to take Information Communication and Technology very seriously in school because it will offer them opportunities in so many fields which will help them to compete in the global world. 

Hounrable Dorcas Asamoah Municipal chief Executive for Axim municipality, Richard Narty Campus Head of Open Labs Ghana Takoradi and Mrs. Alberta Rachael Coffie Quayson Headmistress of Axim Catholic girls senior High school and some students.

Hounrable. Dorcas Asamoah said this in an interview with soireenews, Western and Western North Region when Open Labs Ghana in collaboration with the information communication and technology department of Axim Catholic Girls secondary school officially launched the Axim Girls Senior High Robotics Club on 9th March 2022.

According to Hounrable. Dorcas Asamoah, is very grateful when she sees girls engaging in information communication and technology, all because most girls are either polluted to think is a very difficult do and the world has become a global village that without technology, it will be very difficult to explore our world around us.

She also expressed her appreciation to Open Labs Ghana and the Teachers of Axim Catholic girls senior High school for embarking on such a program to develop the girls in information, communication, and technology appeal to Open Labs Ghana to expand their services to all other girls' schools of which hon.

Dorcas Asamoah handed over 480 tables and chairs to the school which was provided by Elit Furnitures and urged the authorities of the school to maintain them properly in other to improve the conditions of learning in Axim Catholic girls SHS. 

In addition, the Western Regional Campus Head of Open Labs Ghana Mr. Richard Narty also said it their aim to deployed technology to solve the challenges of today and urged Ghanaians to embark on the digitalization agenda to learn, adapt, and apply technology at the forefront of our daily life.

Finally, The headmistress of Axim Catholic girls senior High school, Mrs. Alberta Rachael Coffie Quayson expressed their excitement about having such a program in her school and encouraged her students to develop an interest in information communication and technology and also appeal for more computers of which some students also explain their aim of joining the Robotics Club and what they are up to use it for.
