DSP Irene Oppong has maintained that the Ghanaian Police did not 'seriously harm' Funny Face as he has been claiming.

The Central Regional Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Police Service confirmed Funny Face's report when she revealed that the comedian was arrested after one ‘drinking spot’ owner came to report that the comedian discharged a firearm at his spot after he lost a fight.

According to the PRO, Funny Face discharged the firearm into the air to gain his pride back after the bartender he fought with had thoroughly dealt with him physically.

She revealed that Funny Face was not the only one arrested, as the bartender too was apprehended and is currently being investigated.

DSP Irene Oppong said that the police officers who went to arrest Funny Face say they only used ‘minimum force’ after he tried to resist.

She, therefore, does not know where Funny Face's claim of being manhandled comes in.

Funny Face has threatened to Sue the Ghanaian Police Service for $5 million on the grounds that he was unlawfully battered during the arrest.

The comedian has launched consistent rants at the Ghana Police in the past 24 hours while also going to their station to cause a civil disturbance.

He uploaded a video of himself playing loud music around their station while also hurling insulate at them from a safe distance.
