In the northern area of Veneto, in the village of Zevio, Milena Spigo has operated her pub for 15 years.
She claims that due to escalating prices, running a business is more difficult than ever.
"All the bills are increasing, and taxes are exorbitant. This is simply not how we can live, she says to the BBC.
In a province where the Brothers of Italy party only polled at about 4% four years ago, Milena believes that Giorgia Meloni stood out among her consumers the most.
