The Regional Executive Committee and the entire National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Volta region congratulates Kwame Asiemoah Jr for his achievement as one of Thirty-two (32) young Ghanaians who have been selected as U.S. Department of State 2022 Mandela Washington Fellows.

In a press statement signed by the NDC Volta Regional Secretary, Honorable James Gunu, your selection as a finalist out of nearly 4,000 Ghanaian applicants through a rigorous, competitive process is no mean feat and deserves to be celebrated.
The Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders is the flagship program of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), one of the most prestigious awards for Africans in the United States.
This networking opportunity strengthens the ties between Ghana and the United States in our developmental agenda.
He stated that Volta Region is proud of him and they congratulate Kwame Asiemoah Jr once again for raising the name of the region high.
