NDA Board finally Dissolved, Chief of Staff Takes Over Duties

 The Chief of Staff, Honourable Akosua Frema Osei-Opare has officially terminated the services of the Northern Development Authority (NDA) Board Members.

In a letter sighted by Journalist Ibrahim Nurudeen who have following the activities of NDA signed by the Chief of Staff, Honourable Akosua Freema cautioned the Board Members to 'chicken out from post by the close of work on Thursday, 10th June 2021.

She directed that "I am by this correspondence requesting you to hand over all duties and responsibilities to my office (Office of the Chief of the Staff) by the close of work on Thursday, 10th June 2021".

She warned the immediate past Board Members not to hold any activity, including Board Sub-Committee meetings after the receipt of the letter.

Honourable Akosua however, thanked the Board Chairman and his team members for their good work for the past three years.

This portal has also gathered that the Acting Chief Executive Officer of NDA, Dr Agambila will tomorrow Tuesday, 15th June 2021 end his tenure in office, hence he will officially hand over for a new appointment.

Meanwhile, there have been several calls by well, meaning Ghanaians for activities at the Northern Development Authority to discontinue or dissolve due to mismanagement of resources since its inception.
