Volta Diaspora Caucus Inaugurates Sene West Volta Diaspora Caucus Branch of the Bono East Region

THE Volta Diaspora Caucus under the able leadership of the National Coordinator Honourable, Basil Ahiable was on April,4 2024 inaugurated the Sene West Volta Diaspora Caucus Branch of the Bono East Region. 

The ceremony was also crowned with Skill development training of our members in Tato Bator in Sene West Constituency of the Bono East Region.

The National Coordinator *Hon Basil Ahiable* was in Kwame Danso Tato Bator with the VDC National Secretary Mr. Godson Fiavi Gadabor, Hon Christina Ama Ranson Barabu Fmr NDC PC for Fomena constituency and Trainers trainer, VDC Regional Coordinator Bono East Mr. Jacob Ablordey (Yesumo) and VDC Constituency Coordinator Sene West Mr. Fanwell Anyomie and some constituency executives.

On arrival, the team paid a courtesy call on ewe chiefs of Kwame Danso and Tato Bator in a separate engagements to announce to them the purpose of their visit and assured them of VDC’s collaboration with them to seek the welfare of the ewe communities in the constituency.

 The community comprises mainly of Fisher folks and farmers.

 Participants were drawn from various wards in the Sene West constituency.The training is to help our Voltarian Sisters and brothers to get skills training in soap making, dettol and other assorted detergents.

This is to help bring extra income to our Voltarians and help make them financially independent.

 The National Coordinator of the group, Honourable Basil Ahiable admonished them to unite for a common purpose as our motto says ‘In Unity is Strength.’

He advised the trainers to take their training seriously to improve their livelihood.
