The Member of Parliament for Damango, Honorable Samuel Abu Jinapor has thanked the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo for nominating him as the Minister-designate for Lands and Natural  Resources.

Addressing the  Press in parliament, the former Deputy Chief of Staff expressed satisfaction at Nana Addo's ministerial appointments and affirmed that the team will assist the president in delivering his mandate and agenda for the second term in office. 

Mr Abu Jinapor asserted that, when approved by the house, he will offer leadership in his Ministry to bring all the resources and the actors involved in the Ministry so as to deploy lands as a tool for national development.

He maintained that when given the nod, his Ministry will ensure that investors acquire land in a transparent way to avoid conflicts and disputes.

The former Chief of staff stressed that intelligent ways of boosting the Mining Industry in the country in ways that will not jeopardize the environment and the ecosystem will be deployed.
