Two suspected armed robbers gunned down at Bekwai Abodom

Two suspected armed robbers have been gun down by Ghana police Service anti rubbery unit at Bekwai Abodom in the Bekwai Municipality of the Ashanti Region on Monday 8th March 2022.

According to the information gathered, the suspects went for operation at Koniyaw, a community in the Bekwai Municipality to rob the people of their money and properties.

In the course of their operations, the police were tipped off to apprehend the armed robbers of their nefarious act.

After their successful operation back from the town, on their way met the police anti rubbery unit and an exchange of bullets were fired. 

The police battled with the robbers and gun down two of the suspects and others took to their heels.

The Bekwia police service has assured the people in the community to trust them to bring the rest of the armed robbers to book whiles the investigation is ongoing.
