A y 27-year-old, riding involved in a terrible accident with a Houjiin Motorbike has died on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, after running into a Timber truck on the Begoro-Ahomam road, Police has confirmed.

A report by the security service of Begoro indicates that the deceased known as Gabriel Amedor was riding an unregistered Houjin motorbike from Ahomam village heading towards Akorado, all in the Fanteakwah North District of the Eastern Region around 7:00pm on Tuesday.

The lifeless body of the motor rider was found in a pool of blood with cuts on many parts of his body and severe cuts on his head, lying on the roadside.

They narrated that on reaching a portion of the road, he ran into a stationary Wood trailer with registration number GT 2899-Q and died instantly.

The unregistered Houjin motorbike of the deceased was found under the timber truck facing the opposite direction of  Obourho community road.

The body was conveyed by Begoro police and has been deposited at the Begoro Government Hospital, waiting for identification and autopsy.

This adds up to the number of motorbike death recorded in the Eastern Region to over 10 deaths, recounting four in Adawso, three at Teacher Mante, two at Akuse, Kpong and now Begoro.
