Thiago Alcantara is very confident a summer move to the Premier League is possible.

A deal to Liverpool by the Bavarian is achievable after turning down an offer to extend his stay at the Allianz Arena.

The Express reported on Thursday that Manchester United are certain of reaching an agreement with the 29-year old but the Daily Star and Daily Mirror have readdressed their speculation pointing Thiago’s future to the Premier League champions to work with Jurgen Klopp.

The lack of creativity in midfield is a major challenge for Liverpool if they want to defend the League title next season for the reason that opponents who are able to halt their laterals from operating normally overcome them.

The symptoms have shown since the restart after unable to break an aggressive Manchester City defense before falling to a 4-0 defeat at the Etihad. A similar approach was adopted by the Gunners in Wednesday’s 2-1 defeat and had there been a creative midfielder to pick up the front three, Liverpool’s winning run would not have ended so soon in the hands of Watford before the restart.
