The woman admits that she waited ten years before killing her best friend for stealing her boyfriend.

Ofili gave an explanation for why she killed her friend, with whom she went to the same institution and had shared a close friendship for 20 years, after being apprehended.

The woman admits that she waited ten years before killing her best friend for stealing her boyfriend.

Anita Ofili, a woman, is said to have murdered Glory Okon, her best friend, according to an online account. Anita, who was later detained, said without remorse that she waited 10 years before exacting her vengeance.

She supposedly admitted to stabbing her in her apartment in the Greenville Estate neighborhood of Ajah, Lagos state, as retaliation for taking her lover about ten years earlier.

After the incident, they broke up, and only lately, two weeks later, did they reconnect. Ofili's self-contained flat on Sunday at 1:20 woke up the neighborhood with a distress call.

They pried open the door and saw Ofili cutting Okon's throat with a kitchen knife.

The landlord's daughter allegedly heard the scream, according to one of the building's other residents.

"She peered through the window and saw a masked person stabbing a lady," the eyewitness continued. She quickly dialed her father's number, who informed other residents, who then pried open the door to find Anita Ofili behind the mask.

The space was drenched in blood. The subject was still breathing, we found. To keep Ofili from running away, we had to tie her wrists and legs together. Before the Police arrived, Ofili didn't exhibit any signs of regret. She promised to tell the police what occurred.

She stated that the woman in issue was a friend and that what she did was retaliation for what her friend had done to her.

Glory and I had been close friends for a long time, but she betrayed our relationship by stealing my boyfriend, she claimed. I was planning on getting married to him.

Our relationship was strained by her deed, and we parted ways for ten years. Exactly two weeks ago, we made amends. You already know the rest because I invited her to my home.

Not everybody has a forgiving spirit, be careful who you offend.
