Oliver Khan, a well-known radio host also known as Ship Dealer, has demonstrated his wealth by paying for the release of nine inmates.

Bright Kamkam Boadu, a sports presenter based in Kumasi, made this revelation after learning it from the Crime Check Foundation.

The Sports Presenter claimed to have gotten a screenshot from the Crime Check Foundation showing that the Ship Dealer had paid a fine of GHC 13, 320 that had been imposed by the courts on nine prisoners.

In his response to the article, Ship Dealer said that initially he didn't want the matter to be made public but that he ultimately chose to do so due to the nature of some people.

Some online users have praised him and dubbed him the new Christian Atsu as a result of the humanitarian deeds.
