Stonebwoy, like other celebrities, has charged the Nationa Democratic Congress (NDC) with maintaining the peace.

The prominent artiste directed his plea at the NDC while extending his words of congratulation to Akufo-Addo on his election as the next president of Ghana.

According to him, post-election times are a period for Ghanaians to come together regardless of all the divisions that pre-election politics has caused.

The 'Putuu' hitmaker took to his social media page, Twitter, to make his case.

"Congratulations To the NPP and @NAkufoAddo The President-Elect... The NDC fought A Good Fight... Let’s Continue in Peace And Harmony.. #1People #1Nation #1Ghana" he wrote.

Stonebwoy had earlier teased the fans with regards to the elections while praising the people of Lebanon Zone 2 in the Ashaiman Constituency for not being violent while casting their ballots on Monday, December 7.

He expressed his satisfaction with the preparations that the Electoral Commission (EC) underwent to ensure the smooth elections.

“I am a performer, I am a musician, I am for the people so which of them will ever hire my services to address them; because I hear on one day during December."

“I was impressed with the EC. Big ups to them. This is by far one of the best processes. In Ghana, we must be clear about somethings. If someone does something great let’s say it. I have followed the process and I think they have done well,” he said.

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was declared the winner of the 2020 polls by the Electoral Commission boss Madam Jean Mensa on 9th December 2020 after polling a total of 6,730,413 representing 51.595% of valid votes cast.
