Medikal has accused the media of fake propaganda with his 4Syte TV show incident.

It was reported by some media outlets that the rapper had 'angrily' walked off stage during a performance with his colleagues at the event.

According to the rumours, the 'La Hustle' crooner had left the stage because he had been angered by an undisclosed incident.

He has now disclosed that no such thing happened as it was just pure misunderstanding between himself and his colleagues.

An agreement had already occurred to collectively leave the stage so that Kuami Eugene could perform, but it seemed like his colleagues had forgotten because no one left with him when it was time to leave.

Medikal noted that the agreement had been laid down by the organisers of the show to prevent any clashes with the artistes and their performances.

While speaking on Daybreak Hitz, he explained that there was malice or anger in his blood when he left as it was only part of the agreement that had been made.

“I didn’t walk off stage to disrespect anyone…”

“It was planned that after we’re done performing that song, we were all going to get off stage for Kuami Eugene to do other performances. It’s a song we recorded for 4Syte TV. After doing my verse, I thought we were all supposed to leave but my colleagues were still on stage because they were not done with their part; I was done... It wasn’t a disrespectful act at all.

“I went to sit down. I wasn’t angry. If I was angry, I would have left the venue.” He clarified.

The 2021 4Syte TV Music Video Awards was held on Friday, May 28 in Accra.

Medikal's ‘La Hustle’ was adjudged the Most Popular Music Video of the Year. He also won the Most Influential Artiste of the Year award.
