If I Have Done Something Wrong, Arrest Me - Shatta Wale

Shatta Wale has dared his critics to arrest him if they feel that he has done anything wrong by asking for his rights from the construction workers.

He maintained that no one is above the law in Ghana, and if the people who want his downfall really feel like he has trespassed on the law they should arrange for his arrest.

The danchall artiste had earlier stopped a road construction project Adjiringanor because the workers had refused to extend the road to his secretariat.

Although he has since apologised to the foreman for the unruly behaviour of his boys.

He even pointed that policemen who visited the scene of the Adjiringanor road project did not arrest him because he committed no crime.

Shatta Wale pointed out that  he is not immune to arrest and he would have been arrested if he and his boys were committing some sort of crime.

No Ghanaian is above the law, he maintains.

“There were policemen there, if I did anything wrong, I should be arrested. No one is above the law in Ghana. So I have done this to my area, fought for my people in the area so we can get a good road, what is wrong with it?”

"The man in question is someone that I know and have always wanted to meet. It is so unfortunate that things have to happen this way…I also want to say sorry to Kennedy for everything that happened and I hope he finds a place in his heart to forgive me. It is Ghana, and we are one people. I believe God takes care of the rest.”

This he said while speaking about the events that transpired in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM.
