The Ahafo NDC Youth Wing has vowed to stage a demonstration over the government's excessive spending.

Cute culture of the high rate of expenditure, mismanagement, and financial loss to the state."

The opposition National Democratic Congress's (NDC) Ahafo Regional Youth Wing has announced that it will stage a major protest against what it calls the New Patriotic Party government's "cute culture of the high rate of expenditure, mismanagement, and financial loss to the state."

Some of the youth in Dadiesoba, in the Asutifi south district of the Ahafo region, spoke to our regional correspondent Mark Asante about their concerns over President Akufo Addo's Ministers' mishandling of the country's resources.

They claim that Ghana has a presidential plane that the president is supposed to use, but that he always ignores it and instead hires a costly private jet for his visits.

The youth, according to them, are frustrated and tired of what is going on in the country as a result of President Akufo Addo's administration's mismanagement.

They believe that a major protest is urgently needed to put pressure on the administration to abandon its desperate efforts to reduce exorbitant costs.

They also aim to put an end to pervasive corruption and help young people escape mass unemployment.
