Tettegu Assemblyman And Go High Foundation To Register Over 2000 Children And PWDs Onto NHIS

Assembly Member for Tettegu Electoral Area in the Weija-Gbawe municipality of the Greater Accra Region, Mr Bright Kwame Adabra in collaboration with the Go High Foundation would pay for the registration as part of his resolve to deliver quality health care to the people in his electoral Area in Accra.

OVER TWO thousand children and person with disabilities (PWDs) at 70+ living in the fishing community of Tettegu in the Weija-Gbawe Municipality of the Greater Accra Region are to be registered under the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) for free on Saturday December 24, 2022.

would pay for the registration as part of his resolve to deliver quality health care to the people in his electoral Area in Accra.

The gesture by the Assembly man was part of his selfless leadership project which aimed at encouraging more kids and PWDs to register onto the National Health Insurance Scheme.


Aside the registration of the people onto the NHIS, the Assembly member with the support of the Prosperous Exclusive Men’s Club,Tetegu Moslem Community Council,Go Higher Foundation has also set aside Sunday December 25 and  Monday December 26, 2022 to organize a massive football gala match/fun games and many more for the youths in Tettegu Electoral Area to make marry during the Christmas festivities.

Speaking in an interview ahead of the programme, the delusional Assembly member said registering, children particularly the school children and PWDs onto the scheme will enable them have access to healthcare especially during emergency situations.

” We are doing this to have more of the children and PWDs in Tettegu and its adjoining communities captured under the scheme who can have access to quality healthcare, to prevent absenteeism in schools and work places.

According to him, all the schools and PWDs within the Tettegu Electoral Area have been targeted to benefit from the free registering which will see more than 2000 people benefiting.
