Sefwi Adabokrom Assembly Man Intercepts 27 Bags of Cocoa being Smuggled to Ivory Coast.
According to the Assembly Man, the smugglers pack the bags of cocoa in two tricycles popularly known as Aboboyaa or Motor King from a farming community called Jinijinikrom near the Ghana-Ivory Coast border.

The Assembly Member of Sefwi Adabokrom in the Bia East District of the Western North Region, Honourable Nkrabea Fosu has today 14th December 2022 Intercepted 27 bags of cocoa beans supposedly to be smuggled to Ivory Coast for sale.
According to the Assembly Man, the smugglers pack the bags of cocoa in two tricycles popularly known as Aboboyaa or Motor King from a farming community called Jinijinikrom near the Ghana-Ivory Coast border.
The seized cocoa beans which were loaded in the tricycle haha since been reported to the Bia East District Police Command for further investigation.
Speaking to some of the farmers in the area, they claim the price of a bag of Cocoa in Ghana is far below the price Ivory Coast is buying from its farmers hence their plan to sell their Cocoa in Ivory Coast.
