Teaching Council sets June 20 for Teachers' Licensure Exams

The  National Teaching Council (NTC) has announced that the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) will be written on Saturday, 20th June, 2020.

The exams which was initially scheduled for March 2020, was postponed due to the covid-19 induced restrictions imposed on educational activities.

A statement from the council today said  all three papers - Numeracy, Literacy, and Essential Professional skills - will be written on the same same day  (June 20).

It added that the exams will be taken in strict adherence to safety protocols.

Candidates are expected to wear face masks before, during and after the paper.

All persons present at the centre "shall follow all covid-19 protocols including washing of hands, use of sanitizers and observance of social distance"

The statement said exams will start exactly at 8:30 am.

Candidates are to check the NTC website, "www.ntc.gov.gh" for information on their centres.
